Launching the two units have created 200 jobs directly and could create about two to three thousand jobs indirectly. Total investment of the two projects stood at 350 million dollars while annual worth of the products amounting to 760 million dollars. Industrial wastewater treatment and Incineration unit of Mobin Petrochemical plant with an investment of 76 million dollars and air separation unit of Mobin Petrochemical plant with an investment of 152 million dollars, Methanol unit of the Zagros petrochemical plant and Butadiene unit of Jam petrochemical respectively with an annual capacity of 1/65 million tons and 245 thousand tons, were the other projects came on stream today. Mohammad Reza Rahimi also inaugurated new docks at Pars Petrochemical port with a loading capacity of 35 million tons per year. Pars Petrochemical Port is one of the major ports in the Middle East for exporting petrochemical products. It is also the country's largest specialized port exports all the petrochemicals producing in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (Assaluyeh). The port has the capacity to export 35 million tons of liquid and solid products each year and by launching the new ducks, 15 ships with a capacity of 4 to 100 thousand tons are able to anchor simultaneously.
