The company (NPC-RT) was established and funded as an affiliated company of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and mainly responsible to provide know-how, basic design package, and troubleshooting of petrochemical processes. Since two years ago, I have been positioned as a research and technology (R&T) director of (NPC).

The main responsibilities in this position are as follows;

1-Planning, scheduling and budgeting of research projects based on defined NPC core business in the following research fields; polymers, non-polymers, catalysts, technical and innovative technologies.

2-Defining and coordinating of research projects between the NPC-RT"s three R&D (research and development) centers located at Tehran, Arak and Mahshahr.

3-Directing the research council of NPC-RT, which is responsible to manage the weekly meetings for analyzing and assessment of the received proposals.

4-Managing and outsourcing research projects to the other companies and R&D organizations.

5-Collaborating joint research with foreign R&D companies based on the company"s policies.

5-Evaluating the research proposals received or recommended by other relating R&D centers particularly academia.

6-Assessing the heads of research groups including; Polymers, Non-polymer, Catalyst, Technical, Innovative Technologies, Process Design & Development Groups together with Intellectual Properties (IP)department.

7-Working in partnerships with other research companies and universities.

8-Holding weekly meeting with head of research groups to organize and coordinate relating research activities.

9-Planning of necessary training courses for staff development.

10-Presenting the monthly, seasonal and annual company reports to NPC.

11-Nominating inspectors for research projects approved by the research council of NPC-RT.
